The Life for a Child program was established in 2000 by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) in response to the desperate situation facing many young people with type 1 diabetes in less-resourced countries. Since inception, the program has been managed by Diabetes NSW in Sydney, Australia.The vision of Life for a Child is that no child should die of diabetes.
Continuing Medical Education points are provided through our programs for healthcare physicians and nurses by EACMED (Egyptian Association of Continuing Medical Education Development) which is required by all doctors for the renewal of their medical license.
CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development and is the term used to describe the learning activities professionals engage in to develop and enhance their abilities. CPD is a holistic approach towards the enhancement of personal skills and proficiency throughout a professional’s career.
