ISPAD Review Article

Our first GUIDE program held on May 11^th, 12^th and 13^th 2022 was a great success and we received many appreciations from the attending pediatric endocrinologists by the high audience engagement and the great recognition by ISPAD as well.

ISPAD, International Society of Pediatric and Adolescents Diabetes wrote an article about how the program was a complete success regarding many aspects; the organizing committee, the curriculum that was reviewed by ISPAD tackling: Nutritional management of diabetes, DKA and sick day management, Importance of a newly introduced multidisciplinary approach, Complications of diabetes, MDI and CSII therapy, Introduction of 780G hybrid closed loop therapy, Special topics (e.g., fasting and Ramadan).
